The fungus Alternaria has been detected on parsley crops in Victoria and Queensland and is ikely to be more widespread in Australia
Summary

A decision was taken in March 2006 that eradication of the disease is not technically feasible due to the establishment of the fungus in at least two states. Relevant horticultural industries raised no concerns in relation to the decision to take no further action on this disease.
