International Plant Health Conference "Protecting Plant Health in a changing world"

05-08 October 2020, Paasitorni Conference Centre, Helsinki, Finland

The first International Plant Health Conference will be convened in Helsinki on 5-8 October 2020. Its main theme will be “Protecting Plant Health in a Changing World”. Hosted by the government of Finland, the IPHC will be one of the key events of the International Year of Plant Health (IYPH) in 2020.

The objective of the conference is to provide for the first time a forum to discuss global scientific, technical and regulatory plant health issues in a conference setting and at the same time advocate plant health to the media and general public. The following four themes will be discussed daily in workshops, scientific and regulatory symposia and side events: plant health and international trade; the potential of plant health to contribute to a hunger-free world; plant health’s contribution to climate action and preserving life on land; development and plant health.

The conference aims to attract participants on a scientific, technical and regulatory level, in addition to the general public.

Registration will be open soon through this page.
