Breve descripción

The Slovenian NPPO (Administration for Food Safety, Veterinary Sector, and Plant Protection) would like to inform you about the beginning of the implementation of the IPPC ePhyto Solution. This will enable the Slovenian NPPO to issue some of our phytosanitary certificates in the form of ePhyto for countries that can receive them via the IPPC ePhyto Hub. In cases of Slovenian export to countries not connected to the ePhyto Hub and requiring paper phytosanitary certificates, printed versions of the phytosanitary certificates created via TRACES-NT will be issued.

Therefore, as of April 1st, 2024, the Slovenian phytosanitary certificates will be issued either as:

  1. Phytosanitary certificate and Phytosanitary certificate for re-export issued in printed version, using a national specimen as in use from 14 December 2020. Ordinary watermark paper-based certificates carrying pre-printed serial numbers are in use.

  2. Phytosanitary certificate and Phytosanitary certificate for re-export issued based on electronic version and issued in printed version. The certificate created in TRACES NT, printed on watermarked paper, carrying the TRACES-NT reference number.

  3. Electronically based version: Certificate created in TRACES NT, carrying the TRACES NT reference number, and electronically signed.
