La CIPV à l’horizon 2020 et au-delà

La 4ème réunion du Groupe sur la planification stratégique (SPG) s’est tenue à Rome du 13 au 15 octobre 2015, sur le thème « La CIPV à l’horizon 2020 ». La réunion s’est déroulée sous la présidence de Mme Lois Ransom (Australie), en présence de 27 participants représentant 22 parties contractantes. Les rapporteurs étaient M. Lucien Kouame Konan (Côte-d’Ivoire) et M. Sam Bishop (Royaume-Uni). Tous les participants ont été invités à participer activement aux discussions. Providing Strategic Foresight for the Next 20 Years

The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Strategic Planning Group (SPG) meeting took place from 7-10 October 2014 in Rome, Italy, to provide strategic guidance to the IPPC governing body. The SPG attracted 23 strategic thinkers from 19 countries around the world, including 9 developing countries.

A wide range of issues were discussed and included key secretariat work such as the development of an IPPC implementation programme on surveillance, the framework for standards development, the revised national reporting obligations programme, and the ePhyto feasibility study. Strategic Planning Group holds October 2013 Meeting

The IPPC Strategic Planning Group (SPG) met on 8-10 October 2013 in Rome, Italy, to provide strategic perspectives to the various tasks of the IPPC. Of the thirty-three participants at the meeting, nearly twenty countries were represented.

The group reviewed and actively discussed a range of strategic issues in the IPPC including ISPM 15 mark registration, the ePhyto Feasibility study, national reporting obligations (NROs), policy for partnerships, and processes regarding implementation (i.e. how to efficiently frame the IPPC activities involving standards development and capacity development around the new phase of IRSS).
