Canada implemented ISPM No. 15 on January 2nd, 2004. This change took place as Canada joined with North American Plant Protection Organization countries, the United States and Mexico, in the enforcement of the international standard. Non-compliant wood packaging may be refused entry into Canada as the Government of Canada steps up enforcement activities.
