Short Description

Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS), Kenya’s National Plant Protection Organization has introduced additional features on its Phytosanitary certificate to enhance the security of Phytosanitary certificate.

The additional features on the Phytosanitary certificate are:- 1. A bar code at the right hand top corner of the certificate. 2. A metallic silver line running across the bottom of the certificate; when scanned or photocopied will not appear on photocopy or scan. This replaces the five silver metallic lines with hidden text that was on the previous certificate. The blue thermochromic ink feature at the bottom right of the certificate has also been left out.

The certificate will in use from 18th July, 2016. A copy of the certificate is attached for your reference
