Краткое описание

In the report SGP-01/2 posted on 2 Sep 2012, Singapore reported that a detection survey on Microcyclus ulei from 2005 to 2010 conducted on rubber enclaves, imports from SALB endemic countries and passenger arrivals in Singapore revealed the status of SALB as : Absent, no pest record. To maintain the status and to help to keep out this pest from ASEAN rubber producing countries, the SALB survey was continued in Singapore and supported by the Mycology Laboratory, Plant Health Laboratory Department, Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (NPPO). From 2012 - 2014, routine monitoring of imports of cut flowers, vegetables, fruits from SALB endemic countries carried out did not detect any SALB i.e. a total of 1,341 samples from imports had been checked. Similarly with the previous detection survey, a total of 1,050 SALB spore trap collections placed at the arrival belt of the airport had been checked to be free from SALB spores. From the results obtained in the first survey, the frequency of sampling of the remaining rubber enclaves which were mostly in isolated areas had been reduced. For the same period, a total of 43 samples of rubber leaves collected from these areas had been cleared of SALB. As such, the situation of Microcyclus ulei in Singapore remained to be Absent, no pest record (confirmed by survey).
