ملخص

Localized presence of Puccinia arachidis in New Caledonia has been confirmed by analysis made by the laboratory of ANSES in Nancy (France). The disease has been observed in a little field of peanut (Arachis hypogaea) in La Tamoa (commune of Païta) at the end of the production cycle, at senescent stage. As this disease is a quarantine pest, the field has been destroyed. No other peanut field was cultivated at this time.

Presence of Puccinia arachidis could have an economic impact regarding the potential development of this culture.
