This Spanish-language report summarises the programme, findings and recommendations from a regional workshop held in Santiago, Chile in February 2012 as part of the Global Review on Phytosanitary Surveillance in the Context of the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) 6: Guidelines for Surveillance. The workshop brought together NPPO representatives from across Latin America to analyse the implementation of ISPM 6 guidelines and discuss ongoing challenges in the surveillance of regulated pests.
