The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat invites you to share your experience at CPM-20 (2026) through a poster exhibition showcasing real-world successes, challenges, and innovations in implementing the IPPC, International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs) and CPM Recommendations.

This is your opportunity to exchange knowledge with the global phytosanitary community, highlight innovative approaches to plant health challenges, and inspire colleagues from around the world with your practical experience.

Poster exhibition on successes and challenges in implementing the IPPC, ISPMs and CPM recommendations at CPM-20

The poster exhibition will be displayed throughout CPM-20 week (9–13 March 2026) in the atrium of FAO Headquarters in Rome. Selected contributors will have an opportunity to present their posters during a dedicated session, creating a dynamic space for discussion and networking around country and regional experiences.

focus: Innovation in Plant Health. We are looking for posters that showcase innovative approaches and solutions in implementing the IPPC, ISPMs, and CPM Recommendations.

Innovation can take many forms: new technologies or methods, creative partnerships, adaptive strategies for emerging challenges, novel applications of existing tools, or fresh approaches to persistent problems in plant health protection.

Who can submit?

We welcome proposals from IPPC Contracting Parties, Regional Plant Protection Organizations (RPPOs), CPM observers, and other relevant stakeholders.

Submission guidelines

The submission should include a one-page text summary in English addressing the following points:

The IPPC Secretariat will design the posters of selected submitters to be displayed digitally on vertical screens at the FAO Atrium. The provision of travel assistance to presenters is not foreseen.

Send your proposal by 02 February 2026, to [email protected] with a copy to Ms Rokhila MADAMINOVA ([email protected]) with the subject line: “Submission for the call: CPM-20 poster session on successes and challenges in IPPC implementation”.

All relevant submissions received before the deadline will be compiled into a CPM-20 (2026) document.
