摘要

In the Czech Republic P. pentagona has been first recorded in 2005 in the Pardubice region (the city of Pardubice) on Catalpa bignonioides. In 2006-2007, outbreaks in further localities (in Prague and its vicinity) were discovered with the same host infested. As far as it is known the infested trees have originated in abroad. The State Phytosanitary Administration (SPA) has recommended control measures in all of the infested localities such as removing and burning of infested parts of the trees and/or chemical treatment. Further, P. pe ntagona will be included in a nationwide detection surveillance maintained by SPA.
