Mango Seed Weevil is a dangerous quarantine pest listed in Schedule 4 of the Plant Quarantine Regulations 1981 under the Plant Quarantine Act 1976.This pest poses a serious threat to Malaysian mango industry as it would affect export of the fruit because many countries consider this pest as a regulated pest.
