Short Description

The NPPO of Bahrain would like to notify all contracting parties about approving its first ISPM#15 fumigation treatment operator with Sulfuryl Fluoride (Mark: BH - G.C.S -08 SF). The measure has been taken to implement the CPM Recommendation number 3 regarding reduction of the use of methyl bromide as a phytosanitary measure.

In total, Bahrain approved eight ISPM#15 operators as following:  Five Heat Treatment operators.  Two fumigation with methyl bromide treatment operators  One fumigation with sulfuryl fluoride treatment operator.
