Short Description

• Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2072 as amended sets out the restrictions and protective measures which aim to protect plant health within the European Union. The list of regulated pests is included in Annexes II, III and IV of that Implementing Regulation as follows: • Annex II lists EU Quarantine pests whose introduction into, movement and spread within the EU is prohibited. • Annex III lists EU protected Zone Quarantine pests and the respective protected zones in the EU. Those pests are prohibited from being introduced, moved or spread within the respective protected zones. • Annex IV lists EU regulated non-quarantine pests (RNQPs), together with the plant for planting relevant to the RNQP, the categories of the planting material and the thresholds for the RNQPs on the categories of the plants for planting.
