Pest status (Art. VII.2j) The major crop pests in Timor-Leste are: 1. Plutella xylostella and Crocidolomia binotalis on brassicas in all districts
2. Helicoverpa armigera on tomato, brassicas, bitter melon 3. Leucinodes orbonalis on eggplant 4. Chromatomyia horticola on vegetables 5. Leptocorisa acuta and Scirpophaga incertulas on rice 6. Liriomyza sativae on vegetables 7. Chromalaena odorata, Jatropha gossypifolia and Mimosa diplotricha on a range of crops 8. Phytopthora infestans on potato in Ainaro and Aileu districts 9. Erwinia spp on vegetables 10. Damping off disease on brassicas 11. Sclerotinia sclerotiorum on brassicas 12. Rice blast Pyricularia oryzae on rice and other cereals in all districts
