Dear colleagues and friends,
We have reached the next level when it comes to protecting plant health, boosting trade and developing local economies.
The IPPC Plant Health Campus has now been up and running for three months and serves as a one-stop, user-friendly learning platform for plant health professionals around the world. The campus was designed to grow learners’ knowledge, enhance their competence and build stronger national systems.
We invite you to explore, engage and share this valuable resource within your network.
Here is what is available now:
11 e-learning courses on key phytosanitary topics — including six brand new courses launched in 2025
A Learning Pathways tool to guide NPPO staff to relevant learning based on their roles
A multilingual experience — available in English and French, with Spanish coming soon
Free and open access to all plant health professionals, students, and stakeholders
A communications toolkit on Trello with posters, banners, and social media cards — ready to support your outreach and promotion efforts
Testimonial videos from your NPPO peers —available on both the IPPC Plant Health Campus and the IPPC YouTube channel.
The campus has been developed in collaboration with the FAO eLearning Academy, thanks to generous financial support from the European Union. And it has already been getting plenty of users. Earlier in June, more than 390 participants joined the global webinar Grow Your Plant Health Expertise, indicating popular support for the platform.
Here’s how you can get involved:
Explore the platform and course library here: IPPC Plant Health Campus
Encourage your colleagues to enroll and follow learning pathways. Why not get a study partner/colleague so you can encourage each other to complete a course?
Aim for the digital badges and share them on LinkedIn or social media. Tag your peers and @ippcnews.
Tell more people about the campus using the digital assets in the communications toolkit
Let’s continue working together to build stronger, smarter national plant protection systems through inclusive, accessible, and high-quality learning.
Warm regards,
Sarah Brunel , IPPC officer in charge for day-to-day matters and Implementation and Facilitation Unit Lead
