IPPC Secretariat launches new Online Comment System for 2011 member consultation for draft ISPMs

The IPPC Secretariat launched the new Online Comment System (OCS) on 20 June 2011, which also marked the opening of the 2011 member consultation period on draft ISPMs. All seven draft ISPMs have been uploaded into the system in English, French, and Spanish and are open for commenting using the OCS. Important milestone for electronic certification in the IPPC (ePhyto)

An Open-Ended Working Group on IPPC OEWG on Electronic Certification was held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from Tuesday 07 June to Friday 10 June, 2011. The meeting was attended by participants from 27 countries and 2 regional plant protection organizations.

The second Meeting of the Expert Working Group (EWG) on Phytosanitary Capacity Development took place in Montego Bay, Jamaica, 23-27th of May 2011.
