Responsive image

The software used to run www.ippc.int has changed in order to provide a better experience to our users. We will finally have: 1. Clean URLs - www.ippc.int/about/ instead of abominations such as www.ippc.int/index.php?id=7&L=0. 2. More consistent data entry forms. 3. A redesigned homepage giving more focus to current news and events. 4. A responsive layout accessible to devices with small screens such as computer phones[^1]. 5. A more stable software platform with less security challenges. We are not substantially changing the visual design of the site at this stage and you should be able to find things where you have before. The FAQ has been updated so please check there first if you have questions, and if you do not find your answer, email [email protected] and we''ll get back to you. Please be patient as we fix any issues during this transition. www.ippc.int will have limited access (no logins or operations in restricted areas) from the morning of Tuesday, 4 June 2013 (CET) to the end of Thursday, 6 June 2013 while we move the site to the new software platform. Public pages should still be visible, but logins will be disabled during this period. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to the new site! If you have trouble logging in after 6th June 2013 please check the FAQ, specifically I can t remember my password. Can you please send it to me? and How do I change my password? before contacting us.

If you experience layout display problems, please consider using a modern browser such as Firefox, Chrome or Internet Explorer 9 and above. We are working to improve compatibility with older browsers.

We''ll update this news item when the transition is complete. Illustration: Ernst Haeckel s Kunstformen der Natur - IPPC Secretariat [^1]: Try resizing your browser window.
