the Uniform list of quarantine objects of the Eurasian Economic Union;
Common rules and standards for ensuring quarantine regime of plants within the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The IPPC Secretariat is very pleased to inform its stakeholders that all ISPMs in Arabic, that were affected by the CPM-10 (2015) decision on “revoking of standards”, have been amended to include various sets of ink amendments previously noted in English. This is a significant alignment of the language versions. NPPOs are encouraged to provide information in response to a call by the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) on the following issues:
a) Addressing the risks associated with trade in wildlife, invasive alien species sold via e-commerce, and invasive alien species moving with sea containers;
b) Risk analysis on biological control agents;
c) Decision support tools for management of invasive alien species; and
d) The progress on the achievement of Aichi Biodiversity Target 9.

The Phytosanitary Measures Research Group (PMRG) provides a mechanism where critical phytosanitary treatment issues can be addressed through discussion and collaborative research. The group is comprised of around 75 researchers and regulators and meets approximately every two years. It is anticipated that approximately 25 researchers will attend the upcoming meeting.
