Support for Implementation and Capacity Development Activities of the IPPC Secretariat (GCPT/GLO/1101/JPN)

Budget: USD 491 660 Start: October 2025 End: March 2027

Through this project, a secondment from the NPPO of Japan provides operational support for results-based governance work of the IPPC Secretariat in relation to implementation and capacity development activities.

The secondment:

• Supports the Secretariat in the provision of secretarial and operational support to the implementation of the IPPC Strategic Framework (2020-2030) as it relates to Implementation and Capacity Development activities.

• Contributes to the preparation of documents for the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures and related subsidiary bodies as well as Implementation and Capacity Development Committee groups.

• Develops and maintains phytosanitary technical resources and webpages.

• Contributes to the management of phytosanitary projects, including the conducting of Phytosanitary Capacity Evaluations.

• Performs other duties as requested.
