Breve descripción

Control of import consignments, compulsory control of plant consignments, plant products and regulated establishments from List V Part B Section I, inspection of seeds and propagating materials including the protection of new plant varieties, inspection surveillance of PPS and mineral fertilisers at import to BiH is conducted by phytosanitary inspectors. Compulsory control of plant consignments, plant products and regulated establishments is performed in line with the Law on Plant Health Protection and bylaws enacted as implementing regulations of this law, namely:

• Rulebook on lists of harmful organisms, lists of plants, plant products and regulated establishments (BiH Official Gazette, no. 48/13).

Inspection examination of agricultural seeds and propagating materials in view of meeting the quality standards is performed in accordance with the Rulebook on checking the reproduction material of agricultural plants eligible for import (BiH Official Gazette, no. 34/12).
