Resumen

TCDVd has till now been recorded three times in the territory of the Czech Republic. All records come from petunias (Petunia x hybrida) grown in protected conditions. Samples were taken in different firms in the Moravian-Silesian region, the Opava district during the autumn 2007. The first finding was detected from a sample taken in October 8 from a lot of 80 plants of Petunia ^^Surfinia^^. The plants came from own grower^^s propagation. In the second finding, the sampled lot of petunias consisted of plants of various origins so that the source of infection cannot be found. The third finding comes from an infected lot of Petunia ^^Surfinia^^ originating in Portugal. In all three places where TCDVd was found, emergency measures were taken for eradication of the harmful organism. All plants in the affected lots were destroyed.
