CPM-20 will take place from 9 -13 March 2025 at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy.

The IPPC Secretariat is pleased to announce that invitations for the Twentieth Session of the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM-20) have been sent by FAO Director General to the Head of States of the IPPC Contracting Parties https://www.ippc.int/en/publications/95252/; and to official observers https://www.ippc.int/en/publications/95253/;

Participants are encouraged to confirm their attendance and make necessary arrangements as early as possible. Further details, including the discussion papers will be made available on the CPM-20 page on the IPP CPM 20 - 2026 - International Plant Protection Convention.

Important information regarding the Travel Support for developing country attendees to the CPM-20

Please also note that funding can only be considered after receipt of the formal nomination of the national delegation https://www.ippc.int/en/publications/95255/; and the national authority’s specific request for funding addressed to [email protected] .

It should be noted that the deadline for the receipt of official nominations and requests for financial assistance is 19th January 2026. Any requests received after that date cannot be considered.
