IPPC meets with the World Customs Organization

On July 3, 2013 the IPPC Secretariat met with the World Customs Organization (WCO) for an exploratory meeting to raise awareness between the two groups regarding common interests and objectives. The WCO is very interested in important ongoing IPPC projects such as ePhyto and the standard on Sea Containers. The discussions also focused on developing new avenues for collaboration, for which both parties share a positive outlook.
