The FAO Building
The CPM Meeting will be held at the FAO building (Photo 1), located on Viale delle Terme di Caracalla, located directly above the Circo Massimo metro station (Photo 2). The building is also serviced by buses number 3, 60, 75, 150 and 271. Additional information on transportation may be found at http://atac.roma.it. Tickets for public transport should be purchased in advance and are available from metro stations, tobacco shops andnewspaper kiosks. Tickets may be used once for underground transport and as many times as desired within the ticket validation time on buses. Tickets must be validated upon entering buses via the machines available for this purpose.
The FAO Building has eight floors and is divided into sections referred to as Buildings A, B, C, D, E and F. There are signs in the hallways which may be consulted to verify the layout and locations of meeting rooms. (Photos 3 and 4).
Meeting Rooms are identified with country names for example, Mexico, Canada, Germany etc.(Photo 5)
It is best to arrive well in advance of the meeting to have enough time to locate the meeting room and to get there before the meeting starts.
