Deadline on Thu, 25 Mar 2021, 23:55

Such initiative aims to promote global ‘best practice’ principles, maximize research and development investment, promote project synergies, minimize duplication and facilitate networking opportunities amongst plant health professionals.

To do so in a structured way, the IC agreed upon a Strategy and Process on how the IC reviews and analyses Implementation and capacity Development projects.

To implement this strategy and process, the IPPC Secretariat is soliciting information regarding ongoing Phytosanitary projects at national, regional and global level.

Who can apply?

Contracting Parties, Regional Plant Protection Organizations, FAO regional and sub-regional offices, resource partners and implementing organizations.

How to submit project information?

Respondents are invited to fill in the project description template and:

The deadline is the 25th of March

How the information will be used?

Information received will not be made available publicly but will be reviewed and analyzed by the IPPC Secretariat and IC members would further liaise with respondents if the project is relevant for the phytosanitary community.

The result of this analysis will be reviewed by the IC during the 19 of May and 9 of June Virtual Meetings. These sessions on projects will be open to observers agreed by the IC.
