Call for SPS-related Public-Private Partnership (PPP) stories

The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is inviting the IPPC Community to submit case studies of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangements in Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) context.

Purpose:

The Standards and Trade Development Facility (STDF) Secretariat is developing a knowledge product on the role of PPP arrangements in SPS implementation. This knowledge product aims to provide a practical guide for the development of PPPs in situations where collaboration between the public and private sectors is regarded as a key operational tool. The guide will use existing case studies of PPPs to understand what aspects worked well and what aspects required strengthening and aims to answer the following key questions:

The selected case studies from the IPPC Community will be considered as part of the PPP knowledge product.

Instructions for making a submission:

If you would like to share examples of SPS-related PPPs, please click here to complete an online survey. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please note that a separate survey should be completed for each PPP example. This survey is also available in French and Spanish.
