Short Description

Under section 20D of the Quarantine Act 1908, imported plants and other goods must not be landed at a place in Australia or Cocos Islands or Christmas Island other than a port (including airport) declared by Proclamation to be a port where they may be landed unless permission has been given under subsection 20D(2) of the Act. Landing of goods at other than the declared places without permission is an offence.
