Short Description

With effect from 1st January 2014 the competent authority (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain) under the Belgian NPPO has introduced changes to the Belgian model of the Phytosanitary Certificate and Phytosanitary Certificate for re-export. The new model continues to follow the IPPC model and the provisions of ISPM12. The concerned modification of BOX 10 is in accordance to the Belgian Ministerial Decree of 7 May 2013 amending Annexes VI and VII of the Royal Decree of 10 August 2005 establishing the official model of Phytosanitary Certificates. The Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain will issue a fillable PDF template of those models allowing printing on regular paper. Those certificates must be printed in color on a single duplex white page and must contain the signature and official stamp of one of our certifying NPPO officers to be valid. The new model will be issued for all consignments as from the 01/01/2014. IPPC official contact points are also informed by e-mail containing sample of the new models(using the address on this portal).
