Short Description

Evaluated the behavior of Pseudomonas syringae pv. Actinidiae (Psa) in the country since its first detection, in 2011, and given the epidemiological characteristics of Psa and the country's agroclimatic conditions, it has presented variable levels of inoculum and has increased its dispersion over the years, determining its presence in orchards of kiwi (Actinidia spp.) which has generated a significant increase in the area under quarantine restrictions.  That, according to the geographical dispersion in the productive area and its epidemiological characteristics, it is appropriate to modify the status of the phytosanitary situation of the Psa pest in the country to Present Pest and revoke the resolution of this Service No. 7,540 of 2019 of the Official Control of the bacteria Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae (Psa) as of May 31, 2020.
