Summary

In the Czech Republic C. curvipes has been first confirmed in several localities in 2007. It is highly probable that the species was introduced into CZ a few years ago but until now it has been overlooked. In 2007 the occurrence of C. curvipes became conspicuous in the spring when its abundance markedly increased in consequence of a very mild winter 2006/07. The State Phytosanitary Administration will not conduct any special phytosanitary measures against this harmful organism but the attention will be paid to its occurrence in future.
