Summary

The Asian citrus psyllid (ACP), Diaphorina citri Kuwayama (Hemiptera: Liviidae), is the principal vector of the citrus greening bacterium ‘Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus’ (CLas), the causal agent of huanglongbing (HLB), the most destructive disease of citrus worldwide. Detection of ACP The target survey was conducted around the Koronivia area (FNU-CAFF and Koronivia Research Station), and the samples collected were positively identified as ACP based on morphological characteristics. Additionally, molecular ID was conducted using multiple samples and the molecular results have been confirmed as Diaphorina citri.
