Short Description

As part of recent innovation of the certification system, aligned with the global call for digitalization for trade facilitation, the Mozambique NPPO is announcing to all IPPC contact points, the changes to the model of phytosanitary certificate and the transmission of phytosanitary certificates through the IPPC ephyto HUB. The new certificate has a different appearance, with a QR code and watermark in the background, with the symbol of the Republic of Mozambique The implementation of the ephyto solution will have a transition period. The transition period will take approximately 60 days from the starting date; nevertheless, depending on the real situation during the implementation, it can be extended, and then the NPPO will inform about the changes. Therefore, the NPPO of Mozambique will announce when the PCs will be fully ephyto. Both current and new certificates are attached to this message In case of suspicion, we encourage you to contact the NPPO of Mozambique to confirm the authenticity of the phytosanitary certificate through the following email addresses: [email protected] or [email protected]
