Summary

Outbreak of PPV-D was confirmed in peach (Prunus persica (L.)) in August 2016 in Rep. of KOREA. The national survey for eradication is under process and the result will be updated. The infected tree is immediately destroyed.

Danger
The virus is usually introduced by plants for planting (except seeds) and the damage of the PPV-D on peach tree may be not serious or not well known.
