Summary

Bactrocera dorsalis is considered to be present in Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, North West and some parts of Kwazulu-Natal provinces but not present in the Northern Cape, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Free State provinces.

Danger
Bactrocera dorsalis is subject to official control in the affected areas in accordance with the South African Bactrocera invadens Action Plan, the Agricultural Pests Act, 1983 and associated regulations.
