Summary

Black Sigatoka disease was discovered in Trinidad in 2003 but was not detected in Tobago in a survey in 2005. However, in December 2011 the pest, Mycosphaerella fijiensis was found to be widespread in Tobago. This is the first report of the disease in Tobago
