Arabic translation of IPPC Guide for Establishing and Maintaining Pest Free Areas now available

The IPPC Guide for Establishing and Maintaining Pest Free Areas, which was published in English in 2019, has been translated to Arabic. The purpose of the Guide is to support national plant protection organizations (NPPOs) who wish to establish and maintain pest free areas (PFA) including pest free places of production (PFPP) and pest free production sites (PFPS), as well as areas of low pest prevalence (ALPP). The translation of the guide into Arabic was supported by the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) in the framework of the project “FAO support to COMESA trade facilitation programme (GCP/INT/387/COM)”.
