New publication: Africa Phytosanitary Programme (APP): Strengthening phytosanitary systems and enabling safe trade in Africa

The IPPC Secretariat is pleased to announce the publication of a new brochure on the Africa Phytosanitary Programme (APP). It highlights the impact of the APP in strengthening phytosanitary systems across Africa by modernizing plant pest surveillance through digital tools, specialized training, and standardized science-based survey protocols. With case studies from Egypt and Kenya, the brochure also highlights efforts to scale APP throughout Africa and beyond. Currently available in English, the brochure will also be produced in Arabic and French in the coming months.
