Out now: Experimental report on Fusarium TR4 by Comunidad Andina

The Comunidad Andina (CAN) has released an experimental report on the proficiency test for the detection of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense Tropical Race 4 (TR4) using genomic DNA.

In collaboration with the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA), the Colombian National Metrology Institute (INM), and KeyGene Corporation, CAN organised a proficiency test to evaluate the participating laboratories’ capabilities in diagnosing Fusarium TR4 using PCR-based methods. All 14 participating laboratories obtained a “Satisfactory” performance evaluation.
