The Implementation Review and Support System (IRSS) meeting on the study Analyzing the benefits of implementing the IPPC took place from 13-15 September 2016 in Washington DC, United States of America. The meeting, chaired by Ms Leanne Stewart (the IRSS consultant of the IPPC Secretariat), was attended by seven selected experts from the fields of plant health, trade, international economics and environmental protection.

The Implementation Review and Support System (IRSS) has been asked to conduct an exercise by the Standards Committee (SC) to identify challenges with implementation of ISPM6- Guidelines for Surveillance.
