The IPPC Secretariat welcomes Kazakhstan as a new contracting party of the Convention

The IPPC Secretariat has received notice from the FAO Legal Office that Kazakhstan has adhered to the Convention. By joining the IPPC, Kazakhstan has made a commitment to the shared vision of "the world s plant resources protected from pests." At present, the IPPC has 177 contracting parties.
