The Surveillance guide aims to support the surveillance activities that national plant protection organizations (NPPOs) need to undertake as part of national phytosanitary systems and as obligations under the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). The guide describes requirements for surveillance and the components of national surveillance systems. This 2nd edition is aligned with the revised ISPM 6 (Surveillance) adopted in 2018.
