Where we work

The CPM meets annually at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy. The IPPC Secretariat is also based in Rome, but the activities under the Convention are global in scope.

Meetings in support of the IPPC work programme have been hosted by over 50 countries throughout the world. Participants in IPPC activities include virtually all member countries as well as non-contracting parties and many other international, regional and sub-regional organizations.

Through their National Plant Protection Organizations, individual countries exchange phytosanitary information.
