WELCOME TO THE DECEMBER 2025 TPCS MEETING WORK AREA PAGE!
Rome, Italy. FAO HQ. 8-12 December 2025
The meeting is organized under the work programme of the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM) and the Standards Committee (SC). The TPCS meeting will take place at the Food and Agriculture Organization’s (FAO) headquarters, Rome, Italy from 8 to 12 December 2025 in the India Room A building number 327.
The meeting is being organised by the IPPC secretariat. It is a five-day meeting, and you are requested to make travel arrangements to arrive before the TPCS meeting begins (10:00 Monday morning) and depart after the meeting ends (17:00 Friday afternoon).

Registration for the meeting: The IPPC Secretariat will be using the Online Registration System for you to confirm your attendance. You are requested to register no later than 31 October 2025 by following this link (log in into the IPP is required): https://www.ippc.int/en/events/event/1540/.
A separate reminder will be sent to you before the registration deadline. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please inform the IPPC Secretariat as soon as possible.

Meeting agenda: A draft agenda will be posted in due course. Please consider the points on the agenda and the action points arising from the TPCS June 2025 meeting and prepare and provide your inputs in a timely manner.
The draft commodity standard to be developed is International movement for apples fruits (Malus domestica) (2023-024) for consumption as annex to ISPM 46.
Visa. Please ensure that you make proper visa arrangements for travelling to Italy if necessary and in advance, and prior departure. If you need an official letter of invitation from the IPPC-FAO to help in obtaining the visa, please contact Ms Giulia Gaviano ([email protected]) at your earliest convenience and no later than 15 October 2025.
