Standards Committee Meeting (SC-20)

The main task of the Standards Committee will be to review the drafts texts amended by the Standards Committee Working Group in the previous week to take account of country comments, and to finalize these drafts for presentation, if appropriate, to the Interim Commission for Phytosanitary Measures in 2004. In 2003, the drafts for consultation are: Guidelines for an import regulatory system; Pest Risk Analysis for regulated non-quarantine pests; Supplement to ISPM No. 11 (Pest Risk Analysis for quarantine pests): Pest Risk Analysis for living modified organisms.

The Standards Committee will discuss other topics in relation to the standard-setting programme.
