Workshop on Mitigation of South American Leaf Blight (SALB) of Rubber in the Asia-Pacific Region
A total of 30 experts, participants and observers from ten (11) countries will be invited. Two participants each from Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam will be invited to attend this workshop.
The workshop is expected to monitor the status of country updates on SALB and develop future plan to protect from incursion of SALB in the region. The workshop are also expected i) To update the in-country capacity building on policy, awareness and diagnostic of SALB in rubber growing countries in Asia Pacific ii) To document pest surveillance activities on rubber in Asia and Pacific region iii) To develop standard operating procedure for SALB pest free area iv) To develop a future work plan on protection of SALB
