Description

This course covers essential concepts related to pest surveillance, pest status determination and pest reporting focusing on new detections and emerging pests. It offers practical guidance to strengthen national surveillance systems and surveillance activities to support early pest detection, pest monitoring and pest status determination. It also provides guidance to help NPPOs develop a national system for reporting the occurrence, outbreak and spread of pests. (3-4 hours)
