As a welcome to 2016, the IPPC Secretariat has published its International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs) in English, French and Spanish with a brand new, modern and appealing layout: [https://www.ippc.int/en/core-activities/standards-setting/ispms/].
Although they are available in English, French and Spanish only at present, other language versions will follow as resources become available. Not only do these versions have a new look, but the French and Spanish versions also include ink amendments previously approved by CPM in English. This is a milestone towards aligning the language versions of the ISPMs and is the outcome of months of dedicated and detailed work.
These new versions of our ISPMs have been developed following the CPM-10 (2015) decision on “revoking of standards” and contain consequential ink amendments. Previous revoked versions of ISPMs will be made available on the IPPC website on a separate archive page: https://www.ippc.int/en/core-activities/standards-setting/ispms/revoked-standards/.Share on Twitter Share on Facebook
