Expert Working Group on revision of ISPM 26 to meet in New Zealand

The IPPC Secretariat, through the Standards Setting Unit, is coordinating a meeting of the newly formed Expert Working Group (EWG) on the revision of International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) 26 (Establishment of pest free areas for fruit flies (Tephritidae)) (2021-010) from 10-14 July 2023 in Wellington, New Zealand, to discuss and elaborate the draft text.
Based on the tasks outlined in Specification 75, the EWG will discuss the papers submitted by its members and will draft the revision of ISPM 26.
The report will be published here in weeks following the meeting.
