Now open: Diagnostic Protocols notification period

Posted on Sat, 01 Jul 2023, 08:34

The IPPC Secretariat is pleased to announce the start of the Diagnostic Protocols (DP) Notification Period from today, 1 July 2023 until 15 August 2023. Contracting parties can now review the following DPs, approved by the IPPC Standards Committee (SC), and submit an objection, if any.

  • Draft annex to ISPM 27: Genus Ceratitis (2016-001)
  • Draft annex to ISPM 27: Mononychellus tanajoa (2018-006)

Receiving no objections, the SC will adopt the DPs on behalf of the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM). The IPPC Secretariat will then make them available to contracting parties and the CPM will note and attach them to its meeting report.

For more information on the draft DPs or responses of the Technical Panel on Diagnostic Protocols (TPDP) to the consultation comments approved by the SC, please visit the dedicated webpage.
